Job Description

A client in the Boise area is looking for a Remote Support engineer to join the team. This individual will be providing engineering remote support diagnoses for Indigo Digital presses for external and internal customers. This individual should be self-motivated and will create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. He/She will do this by providing firsthand resolution to technical highly complex in nature malfunctions, should maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies, and actively contribute to the client's technical knowledge portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer engagement.

Candidate will be handling all printer press related issues (100% phone support) working with the local technician to fix the malfunction.

Issues could be mechanical or technical.

For mechanical issues, engineer needs to be able to read diagrams to bring problem to resolution. For technical issues, engineer needs to be able to remote in or walk local POC through steps to bring problem to resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

-2+ years experience with Series 2 or 3 Indigo Digital Presses

- 4+ years experience troubleshooting technical and physical commercial printing press issues

- 100% phone support, strong verbal customer support skills

- Ability to read and diagnose electrical diagrams

- Strong mechanical aptitude
