Duration: 4 months potential to be extended to 18 months

Job Description:
The Project Manager position has tactical and strategic responsibilities for directing all phases of project management for a large B2B brand and website project. Key functions include gathering requirements scoping determining level of effort estimations setting stakeholder expectations providing reporting and collaborating with executives global marketing managers agencies and vendors. This individual will manage a variety of workstreams simultaneously working both as a team member and leader to ensure flawless execution of a high visibility project.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive and participate in brainstorms kickoff and follow-up meetings
  • Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams market planners portfolio and regional marketing public relations digital marketing creative services demand generation and marketing operations to ensure the work is delivered on strategy on time and on budget
  • Lead functional requirements gathering sessions
  • Build and manage project plans monitor day-to-day milestones review schedule with stakeholders.
  • Manage the coordination and assignment of resources
  • Document project progress including utilizing Microsoft Teams or status updates scheduling and running meetings
  • Building consensus through collaborative analysis/design with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures project files and communications are shared securely while managing the versioning publishing and archiving of digital design files
  • Continuously provide transparency with key stakeholders to mitigate risk to budget scope and timelines proactively identify potential obstacles and take preemptive action to address appropriately
  • Other projects as assigned

    Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing B2B rebrand projects website builds and redesigns. Administering websites and content management systems is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of agency or corporate experience.
  • Project Management Professional PMP certification a plus.
  • Proficient in business software applications including Microsoft Office Outlook Word Excel Project SharePoint PowerPoint Teams.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles methods and techniques including skills using software such has Jira Wrike Basecamp Clarizen and Smartsheet. Wrike experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of relevant technologies to include CRM Marketing Automation and Adobe Creative Suite. Solid understanding of website creative and production processes.
  • Must be comfortable being client/stakeholder facing and engaging multiple teams within the organization leading coordination for large projects.
  • Strong understanding of project timeline and scope management with the ability to craft and manage schedules and resource plans adapting as necessary throughout the project's life.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing relationships with marketing PR teams creative agencies technical resources and production suppliers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams/timelines simultaneously while recognizing dynamic and shifting priorities and adjusting schedules and deliverables accordingly.
  • Experience developing internal and external communications plans preferred
  • History of collaborative collegial working relationships preferably in a matrix model negotiates with and influences others internally and externally including senior executives within the company and vendors.

A project manager that cant tell the difference between CSS HTML and an API just isnt going to be able to understand enough about the project to manage it. A few examples of digital marketing and website development terms such as intent session meta description domain authority pageviews redirect and vanity URL will be among the daily dialogue between the stakeholders and the project manager.

    For success accountability and clear communications we often look to RACI charts to boost productivity and clarify employee roles and responsibilities throughout projects. Obviously when we interviewed candidates they should be familiar with a RACI matrix for managing complex projects. I was surprised that no one I interviewed knew what I was talking about when I referenced a RACI matrix.

  • Does your team work standard core hours or does that vary? It can vary 8 am ET start is expected due to coordination with global teams required

  • Do you need someone with a particular degree or certification? Project Management Professional PMP certification is desired

  • What are some of the performance indicators youll be looking for once this person ramps up? Meeting deadlines quality of work etc.
