A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join their team in Orlando, FL. The Senior Technical Product Manager will be responsible for product strategy, concept development, and defining and executing initiatives with stakeholders and partners for a Point of Sale Replacement Project. As the subject matter expert for the point of sale platform, the role will be a liaison to development, implementation and support teams as well as support projects, enhancements, backlog and prioritization of features and capabilities. We are looking for a Product Manager that are able to work in lockstep with their development teams to understand the implications of solutioning and define non-functional requirements. This position will be onsite 4 days a week.
5+ years of product management experience driving product strategy and execution.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
Background in software development
Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
Understand the nuances of data pipeline issues & solutions.
Ability to identify, understand and drive resolution of complex critical issues
Previous product experience/knowledge in Point-of-Sale space
Prior experience in Java, Kotlin, Golang, PHP, SQL, and non-SQL technologies
