An employer in the Orlando is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This person will be responsible for preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information for their designated territory. This person will be responsible for spread sheet development, and month end close for their clients. They will be maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts and maintaining general ledger. This person will be required to summarize financial status. Part of this job includes completing external audit assignments. This is a senior level role, so some assistance with training other accountants may be required. This individual will be assigned a location to oversee the accounts, so familiarity with the laws and regulations in different cities outside of Orlando will be needed to successfully perform this role.
7+ years of Full Cycle Accounting/General Ledger Accounting
Bachelors Degree in accounting (Bach. In Finance with a masters in accounting will work as well)
Auditing experience
Any ERP experience (they use PeopleSoft but are converting to Workday)
Needs to be proficient in Excel (pivot tables/v-lookups/knowledge of formulas)
Strong go-getter personality this person needs to be organized, and very detail oriented.
Great written and oral communication skills (occasional contact with the field managers)
