Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to support a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in advanced aviation, avionics, software, systems, and engineering solutions. This individual will own full-cycle recruiting for both IT and Engineering functions while serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR Business Partners.
The ideal candidate combines strong sourcing capabilities with business acumen and stakeholder management experience. They must be able to understand the business need behind an opening, lead effective intake discussions, provide market intelligence, influence hiring decisions, and drive accountability throughout the hiring process. This person will be expected to drive hiring outcomes, in addition to sourcing candidates.

Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, avionics, defense, manufacturing, or other highly technical product-based organizations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Building candidate pipelines.
Running intake meetings with hiring leaders.
Partnering with HRBPs on workforce planning.
Managing both IT and Engineering requisitions.
Providing market intelligence and hiring recommendations.
Driving urgency and accountability throughout the hiring process.
Influencing hiring decisions with data and recruiting expertise.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree
Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
Proven experience recruiting for both IT and Engineering positions.
Strong experience sourcing and hiring technical talent across areas such as:
Software Engineering
Systems Engineering
Network Engineering
Infrastructure & Cloud
Cybersecurity
Data & Analytics
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Embedded Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Quality Engineering
Program Management
Experience supporting engineering-focused organizations within aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, or other technical industries.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational priorities, project goals, and workforce planning needs.
Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to gather requirements, refine job scope, align on hiring strategy, and drive successful hiring outcomes.
Ability to provide recruiting market insights related to talent availability, compensation expectations, competitive hiring trends, and recruiting strategy.
Proven ability to hold stakeholders accountable to interview timelines, candidate feedback, and hiring process expectations.
Strong consultative skills with the confidence to challenge unrealistic requirements and recommend alternative hiring approaches when appropriate.
Experience managing approximately 30 active requisitions while meeting recruiting KPIs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience within aerospace, aviation, avionics, or defense organizations.
Experience using Lever ATS.
