Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Manager of Release Management to join their Technical Product Operations organization. This person will play a key role in shaping technology strategy, overseeing release management processes, and driving the successful delivery of software products, projects, and product capabilities. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and tactical, with the ability to lead through influence, create structure, and ensure delivery teams are aligned to business needs, customer requests, and product roadmaps.
This role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects and products using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as needed. The Sr. Manager will work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA, Testing, Engineering, IT, business partners, and third-party vendors to ensure releases are delivered on time, in full, within budget, and with high quality. They will own governance, controls, risk mitigation, status reporting, executive updates, metrics, retrospectives, and continuous improvement of the release management process.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience successfully managing projects, products, programs, or releases in a fast-paced environment
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-Strong experience with SDLC, release management, project delivery, and product delivery
-Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proven experience leading teams, managing a project management function, or overseeing release/project managers and scrum masters
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Knowledge of DevOps practices and tool
-Experience in hospitality, vacation ownership, timeshare, or related industries
-Experience with product management tools and processes such as Aha or Azure DevOps/ADO
