Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Decision Science Analyst in the Orlando area. This will be a fully onsite position 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.

The day to day will be to support enterprise strategy, performance improvement, and operational decision-making. This person will help turn complex business problems into structured analysis, clear recommendations, and practical execution plans.

This role will work closely with Strategy and Performance leadership, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze performance trends, evaluate strategic options, and build tools that support better business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-minded, and comfortable working with ambiguity, large datasets, and executive-level stakeholders.

The Decision Science Analyst will develop models, dashboards, scorecards, forecasts, and analytical summaries that help leadership understand tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and opportunities. This person will also support initiative prioritization by quantifying expected impact, cost, sequencing, and implementation considerations.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business, Public Administration, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
3-5+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, business intelligence, management consulting, operations analysis, data science, or a similar quantitative role.
Strong experience building analytical models and using data to support business decisions.
Experience working with large datasets from multiple systems or sources.
Advanced analytical thinking and ability to structure vague or complex business problems.
Experience with forecasting, scenario analysis, statistical analysis, optimization, simulation, or similar decision-support methods.
Proficiency with at least one analytical or BI tool such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting airport, aviation, transportation, public sector, logistics, infrastructure, utilities, or other complex operational environments.
Experience partnering with operational teams such as terminal operations, coordination centers, scheduling, billing, waste management, or service delivery functions.
Experience creating executive-ready briefings for senior leadership.
Experience developing reusable analytics templates, standards, or decision science frameworks.
Experience identifying data quality issues and recommending process or reporting improvements.
Experience supporting enterprise strategic planning or performance management initiatives.
Consulting background or experience working in a matrixed stakeholder environment.
Experience quantifying initiative value, cost, risk, sequencing, dependencies, and implementation impact.
