Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Tactical NOC Technician to sit fully onsite in Tampa, FL. This individual provides operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on routing and switching technologies within a Cisco environment. Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues across LAN, WAN, and campus networks, while ensuring optimal performance and availability. The role supports and maintains routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and RIP, documents outages and network changes through ticketing systems, and performs technical analysis to resolve complex network anomalies. In addition to core networking responsibilities, the individual collaborates across teams and cross-trains on technologies. They also ensure compliance with DoD standards, cybersecurity policies, directives, and industry best practices. This position operates in a 24x7 Network Operations environment and requires flexibility to support 12-hour shifts as needed.

Compensation:

$32/hr to $34/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- Secret Clearance
- Security+ AND CCNA
- High School Diploma and 5 years
- Experience working in a tactical environment
o Experience standing up and breaking down tactical missions
- Experience with Cisco Routers and switches, experience setting up tactical missions
o Knowledge of routing protocols
- Experience troubleshooting encryption issues
- Comfortable being a liaison with other NOC involved in missions
