Job Description

A leading enterprise organization is seeking a Lead Product Manager to serve as the product owner and subject matter expert for its IBM Maximo platform. This individual will drive product strategy, roadmap development, and platform enhancements while partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to deliver scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience. Responsibilities include owning the Jira backlog, gathering and documenting requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing features, leading Agile ceremonies, supporting testing and release activities, and guiding cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of Product Management experience, deep expertise with IBM Maximo, strong Agile and Jira experience, and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations. Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership presence, and a hands-on approach to execution are critical for success. Maximo certifications, experience with enterprise asset management platforms, business intelligence tools, and employee-facing applications are highly preferred. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance long-term product vision with day-to-day delivery and execution.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of Product Management experience within Agile environments
Strong experience leading enterprise application/product initiatives end-to-end
Deep hands-on experience with IBM Maximo including platform capabilities, configuration, and stakeholder consulting
Experience owning and grooming Jira backlogs, writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable product solutions
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Data-driven decision making using KPIs, analytics, and operational metrics
Experience leading Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, prioritization, and defect management
Ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

IBM Maximo Certification
Disney experience or experience within hospitality, tourism, theme parks, or guest-facing environments
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO/A-CSPO)
Experience supporting employee-facing tools or Digital Employee Experience (DEX) programs
Experience with Tableau, Business Objects, New Relic, or similar analytics platforms
Familiarity with AI-enabled automation and content tools
QA, testing, or software analytics experience
Master's degree or related graduate education
