GENERAL SUMMARY: Senior – The Senior network analyst is the most technically savvy employee at each facility. Acts as a mentor and a liaison for all otheremployees as well as the ambassador of for all the hospital staff and directorship. Keeps the pulse of the hospital, has knowledge of all projects at the hospital, professionally interfaces with the hospital, communicates that knowledge back to Lake Mary, is very creative in the approach to new technologies, offers excellent solutions with vision and thought and then manages and implements the projects created by your professional leadership. The senior network analyst is moreover the representative of who implements corporate strategies, creates and supports corporate policy and procedures, sets and configures corporate standards, adheres to corporate change management and provides security and HIPPA configurations to insure corporate and governmental regulations are adhered to. Under general supervision plans and evaluates moderately complex existing network systems and makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and /or expand service levels. Provides assistance in network planning, engineering, architecture and the development of technical standards and interface applications. Evaluates new products as assigned. Provides resolution for network problems. The Region Network Analyst is responsible for insuring the day to day operation, reliability, and integrity of the company data communications network within a designated region. The Senior Network Analysts’ day-to-day Activities Include; Working in layer 1, 2 and 3 switching and routing; WLAN Access points and the engines that run AP’s; VPN connections and their configurations; Implementing new technologies and equipment; Monitoring and trending network needs; Trouble-shooting issues of all kinds; installing and maintaining equipment and wiring; Meeting client needs; Gaining the support of the client; Studying network technology and increasing knowledge. HS Diploma
7+ years of Network Analyst experience
5+ years of Cisco Experience - voice and wireless
6+ years experience in a layer 1,2 and 3 distributed network environment
Expert in LAN/WAN protocols, funcitonality-cabiling systems, hubs, switches, bridges, routers, gateways, terminal and communication servers
Worked in a non complex environment w multiple closets, devices, and nodes
Mentorship experience- experience leading a project from start to finish
Cert: Cisco CCENT
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Healthcare/ Hospital Experience
Healthcare Network environment experience- PACS
Multi VLAN
Associates Degree
Cert: CCNA, CCNP
