Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is seeking a Red Hat Linux Systems Administrator to support Linux administration, enterprise logging, and infrastructure automation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, developing and managing automation through Ansible, supporting centralized logging solutions, and validating log ingestion through Splunk and related monitoring platforms. This will be a hybrid opportunity in Orlando, Florida.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems and infrastructure.
Experience developing and maintaining Ansible automation and configuration management solutions.
Strong understanding of enterprise logging concepts, including syslog architectures and log forwarding.
Experience with logging technologies such as rsyslog, syslog-ng, or similar platforms.
Experience using GitHub or other version control tools for configuration management.
Working knowledge of Windows server environments.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Splunk for log validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Elastic technologies.
RHCSA, RHCE, or other Red Hat certifications.
Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and best practices.
Experience supporting enterprise monitoring and centralized logging platforms.
Background supporting globally distributed infrastructure environments.
Experience within large-scale operational, engineering, or project-based infrastructure teams.
