Job Description

In this role, you work independently in the field each day, performing corrosion control testing on underground and submerged metallic structures and making on‑site decisions without direct supervision. You gather, evaluate, and organize field data to assess structural conditions, later compiling your findings for senior staff review. Your daily work involves applying standard corrosion control survey and construction practices, estimating project durations, and managing several small assignments at once. You also develop and refine troubleshooting test procedures for complex issues, determining when specialized testing is required. As you analyze field results, you prepare draft reports for the area supervisor, ensuring that all technical insights are clearly documented. This position requires professional corrosion control and cathodic protection experience, as it is not an entry‑level technician role.
