Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a airfield electrician in the Orlando area. This will be a rotating shift position including weekends. The shift are as listed: first shift 6am to 2pm, second shift 2pm to 10pm, and third shift 10pm to 6am. The shift will change every 90 days as well as the days off. It will be 5 days on with 2 days off. The day to day will consists of Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain airfield electrical systems and equipment throughout airport properties, including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting systems, security gates, high mast lighting, and related electrical infrastructure. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to support safe and continuous airport operations.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Three years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Experience working with commercial, industrial, utility, transportation, or airfield electrical systems.
Experience troubleshooting motor controls, lighting systems, electrical distribution systems, or related equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
Valid Florida Driver's License.
Ability to test and MEGER 5kv wire, work on regulators and have a well-rounded electrical maintenance background.
ACE Certificate
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous airport, aviation, military airfield, transportation, utility, or industrial electrical experience.
Experience with airfield lighting systems.
Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent electrical certification.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
JW Certification Card
