Job Description

This person will provides technical support for gas and steam turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment, resolving NCRs (non-conformance reports), ESRs (engineering support requests), and field issues through troubleshooting, data analysis, and root cause investigations. Responsibilities include partnering with field and client facing teams to improve product quality, reduce costs, support outage planning, manage fleet risk, develop service offerings, and assist sales efforts. The position may require occasional off-hours support and coordination with engineering teams in Japan.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 3+ years of experience in engineering design or engineering servicing.
- 12+ years of relevant experience if no degree.
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine engineering. Overall turbine configuration, properties of materials, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5.
- Ability to write technical reports.
- Proficient with Microsoft office
- Experience with PTC Suite (Creo, Windchill, Matlab).
- Experience with Computer programming (Python, VBA, C++)
- Experience with CAD softwares (Solidworks, AutoCAD)
