Job Description

Mobile Operations Technician:
Customer-Focused Mobile Service & Sales Professional

Our client is transforming the automotive locksmith industry through cutting-edge robotics, mobile technology, and exceptional customer experiences. We're looking for outgoing, customer-focused professionals who enjoy helping people, building relationships, and working as part of a high-energy team.
This position combines customer service, sales, and hands-on technical work. Mobile Operations Technicians work alongside a team 3-4 technicians at retail partner locations, helping customers with automotive key replacement services while creating a positive and professional experience.

What You'll Do
Customer Experience & Sales (70%)
- Serve as the face of the company at retail partner locations.
- Engage customers, identify their needs, and recommend the appropriate key duplication or replacement solution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that drives repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on products, services, pricing, and available options.
- Process transactions using tablets, mobile applications, and point-of-sale systems.
- Support team sales goals through strong customer engagement and relationship-building.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain positive relationships with retail partners.

Technical & Operational Support (30%)
- Learn to cut, duplicate, and program automotive keys, fobs, and remotes.
- Test completed keys to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and daily mobile operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace within the mobile service environment.
- Support teammates during busy periods and collaborate to deliver excellent customer experiences.

No locksmith or technical experience required. We're looking for customer-focused professionals with strong communication skills, sales aptitude, and a desire to learn. We'll provide the technical training needed to become successful in automotive key programming and mobile service operations.

Compensation: $20-25/hr. Exact compensation will depend on experience.

SCHEDULE:
Wednesday-Sunday: 8am-5pm
3-month contract-to-hire

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with others.
- Comfortable engaging customers and recommending products or services.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using tablets, POS systems, mobile apps, and digital tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical skills.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Wireless sales, retail leadership, banking, hospitality, customer success, automotive service advisor, or other sales experience.
- Experience working toward sales goals, commissions, or performance metrics.
- Automotive, locksmith, mechanical, or technical aptitude.
- Inventory management or retail operations experience
