Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tax Associate to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, gathering financial information, and assisting with tax preparation and administrative support. While prior tax experience is preferred, candidates with strong customer service, administrative, or seasonal tax experience are encouraged to apply.
This position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing professional and timely customer service.
• Gather, organize, and review financial and tax-related documents from clients.
• Assist in preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing communications, and following up on outstanding information.
• Work closely with tax professionals to ensure returns are prepared accurately and submitted on time.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing documentation, tax questions, and filing status updates.

Required Skills & Experience
1. Strong customer service and client-facing experience with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships.
2. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines simultaneously.
3. Administrative experience involving documentation, data entry, scheduling, or client support.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when handling financial or confidential information.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a tax office or accounting environment.
• Seasonal tax preparation experience.
• Basic understanding of tax return processes and financial documentation.
•Experience supporting CPAs, accountants, or tax professionals.
