Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Manager for a leading healthcare/diagnostic imaging organization. This candidate will oversee full-cycle accounting operations for a business unit, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and treasury functions. They will play a key role in driving accurate and timely financial results, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis. This individual will also lead and mentor accounting teams while working cross-functionally to improve processes and deliver impactful business insights in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business- can be flexible based on relevant experience
3-5+ years of relevant Accounting experience
Experience with SouthWare/Great Plains preferred, any Accounting ERP systems
2+ years of supervisory experience: will have 1 Staff Accountant direct report
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Intermediate to advanced in excel
X/V lookups
Summits
Pivot tables
Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition guidelines
Experience with reconciliations and audit sign-off processes.
Strong communication skills; ability to translate financial data to non-financial stakeholders
Decision making- know when to escalate vs what they can handle

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience coordinating audit activities- supporting year end audit
Master’s degree or CPA designation
Project management skills
