Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a field-driven Superintendent to support federal construction projects while also taking on Quality Control responsibilities. This dual-hat role is best suited for a Superintendent who has strong experience with QC processes and documentation, rather than a career QC professional.
This individual will lead day-to-day field operations while ensuring project work is executed in alignment with quality standards, contract specifications, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Superintendent (Primary Focus):
Lead daily onsite construction activities and field execution
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and sequencing across multiple scopes
Drive schedule adherence, site logistics, and issue resolution
Serve as the primary point of contact in the field for project coordination
Monitor productivity, safety awareness, and overall jobsite performance
Quality Control (Secondary Focus):
Support and execute project Quality Control functions in alignment with federal requirements
Assist with implementation of the Quality Control Plan
Participate in and help coordinate 3-phase inspections (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up)
Ensure work aligns with project specifications and contract documents
Maintain QC-related documentation, reporting, and tracking
Interface with project team and inspectors to support compliance

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree
5+ years of experience supporting federal construction projects (DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, etc.)
Strong background as a Superintendent with exposure to quality control processes
Experience supporting QC documentation, inspections, and compliance efforts (not required to be a dedicated QC professional)
Strong understanding of construction means & methods across multiple trades
Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid field leadership role
Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 standards and federal project requirements
OSHA 30 Certification (or higher)
