Job Description
Our client is looking for a QA Analyst who will primarily focus on hands-on manual QA, writing and executing test scripts for system enhancements across multiple interconnected financial systems. Day-to-day, they’ll sit with business users to understand and document detailed workflows (often 10–15 steps), then translate those into test cases and validation processes. They’ll partner closely with developers to test fixes, validate system outputs, and ensure enhancements are working as expected, while also troubleshooting data issues using Excel and system outputs. The role involves constant interaction between business and IT teams, helping drive process improvements and gradually turning manual workflows into more automated or efficient solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years hands-on Manual QA – writing/executing test scripts, owning end-to-end testing (UAT, validation, defect tracking)
• Financial systems experience – worked within accounting workflows (payments, entries, reconciliations) in large enterprise environments
• Legacy/mainframe exposure – comfortable testing across multiple interconnected systems (4–5 systems) and understanding how they integrate
• Process-driven mindset – able to sit with stakeholders, break down 10–15 step workflows, and translate into detailed test cases
• Strong data validation + collaboration – advanced Excel (large/flat files, troubleshooting data issues) and works closely with dev + business teams; hungry, hands-on, and eager to learn
