Job Description

A client in the Miami FL area is seeking a Community Association Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Association, ensuring the community is well-maintained and operating efficiently. The manager will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, residents, vendors, and the Board of Directors, handling communications, inquiries, and ongoing relationship management. This position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all maintenance activities, repairs, and capital improvement projects across the community, as well as conducting regular property inspections to ensure compliance with community standards and governing documents.

The Community Association Manager will manage homeowner communications, including responding to resident inquiries, issuing violation notices, and processing Architectural Control Committee (ACC) applications. The role also includes preparing Board meeting agendas, management reports, notices, and complete meeting packets, while attending Board meetings to provide professional guidance, operational updates, and strategic recommendations. In addition, the manager will coordinate and supervise vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality performance and adherence to contractual obligations.

Financial oversight responsibilities include assisting with budget preparation, reviewing invoices, and monitoring Association expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility. The manager will maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation related to all Association operations. Ensuring compliance with the Association’s governing documents and applicable Florida Statutes is a critical component of the role. The position also requires responsiveness to emergencies and the ability to coordinate after-hours issues when necessary. Overall, the Community Association Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the Board of Directors to support the long-term goals, operational needs, and continued success of the community.

Required Skills & Experience

Active CAM (Community Association Manager) license in Florida required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of community association management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HOA operations, homeowner relations, and covenant enforcement procedures.
Familiarity with Florida Statutes, Association governing documents, and Board meeting procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communication, and property management software systems (AppFolio experience preferred).
