Job Description

• Identify compelling stories and ideate continuously to maintain a high-impact social presence.
• Align creative social plans with overarching business goals, brand identity, and the unique "ModMed voice".
• Maintain a "maker" mindset to transform high-level concepts into high-velocity daily content, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning and design to final publishing.
• Design, film, and edit "on-the-go" authentic videos featuring employees, customers, and industry leaders to produce native-feeling social content.
• Act as a key consultant for the marketing team, providing the creative direction and perspective needed to translate large-scale projects into high-performing social initiatives.
• Drive the growth and health of online communities through first-hand engagement, responding to followers, and fostering long-term brand loyalty.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics to provide data-driven insights that refine future strategies and prove the ROI of social initiatives.
• Monitor the pulse of the industry, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to quickly translate insights into "cutting-edge" content.
Own and manage the social media content calendar and execution (day-to-day posting, scheduling, tracking).
- Create short-form video and rapid-turnaround social content (using tools like CapCut);
- Develop and implement social-first strategies, adapt trends
- community engagement and on-the-ground content at trade shows and events (attend ~3–5/year, including the major year-end user show); direct others or appear on camera when needed.
- Identify and interview internal stakeholders/spokespeople; source and surface story ideas across the company. be proactive and go out and have the ability to do this yourself without being told
- cross-functional work with internal marketing/design teams and external partners.
- Operate independently with tenacity—proactively find content opportunities and work with C-suite-level visibility.

Pay varies: $24-30/hour depending on level of experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing or a related field, specifically within a B2B environment.
• A proven track record of first-hand experience in building and growing online communities and driving engagement results.
• Strong proficiency in creating content with modern design and editing tools, such as CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Express.
• Previous experience working at a marketing or communications agency preferred.
• Strong experience managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.
• An independent self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ideation.
• Ability to embrace change as a growth opportunity and adapt quickly to new challenges.
Demonstrated experience with LinkedIn content and B2B/ thought-leadership positioning (primary platform for this role). & instagram experience. Must have relevant examples and what they did/how content performed, greatest achievement etc
- Practical experience creating short-form video and familiarity with editing tools/workflows (CapCut or similar).
- Strong trend-spotting and analytical skills—able to explain why content worked or didn’t and adapt formats/creative accordingly.
- Comfort with on-camera work or confidently directing others to capture content at events.
- Professional communication skills and ability to engage with executive stakeholders.
- Self-starter, creative storyteller, and able to balance independent creation with coordinating larger production initiatives.
- Familiarity with influencer collaborations is a plus, but not sufficient alone; proven owned-channel successes preferred.
