Job Description
Insight Global is looking for 3 Industrial Engineers to support their manufacturing customer in St. Petersburg, FL area. This role will focus on translating hands-on findings into standardized work instructions and process documentation that can be leveraged across production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and document switchgear assembly through teardown activities
Create and standardize work instructions and process documentation
Convert findings into repeatable manufacturing processes
Conduct time studies and process mapping to improve workflow
Support continuous improvement initiatives across production

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
Experience with large-form or complex assembly
Proven experience creating work instructions and process documentation
Strong understanding of industrial engineering fundamentals (process mapping, time studies, workflow design)
Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Visio, AutoCAD, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with switchgear or electrical/mechanical equipment
Background in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement
Familiarity with systems like SAP or MES
