Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Quality Technician for a client in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of a variety of electronic products by reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to understand requirements and confirm compliance with industry, military, and engineering standards. The technician will inspect cables, circuit boards, assemblies, and fabricated parts using microscopes, test equipment, and standard measuring tools, often working under magnification for extended periods. They will partner with Quality Engineers to evaluate non-conforming materials, identify defect trends, and support continuous improvement efforts while maintaining ISO 9001, AS9100, and other safety and quality standards. The role also includes documenting defects within internal systems.

HS Diploma
Experience as an inspector of electronic equipment and mechanical parts
Defense/Military Quality experience
ISO9001 environment experience
Experience in production environments (ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620)
