Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Senior Accountant for an aerospace company in Largo, FL. This organization is transitioning to a centralized accounting model and is seeking a candidate who is adaptable, solution-oriented, and thrives in a changing environment.
This position will be based in Largo and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and coordinating day-to-day accounting activities across both the Dallas and Tampa locations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple accounting functions in a fast-paced setting. This individual will also provide local coordination and guidance to teams supporting Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, while partnering closely with both site leadership and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) reports
• Closely monitor cash flow and provide management with accurate projections
• Provide in-depth analysis of financial information to all levels of management
• Analyze financial trends to predict future revenues, costs, margins and profits
• Coordinate and oversee revenue recognition processes and related general ledger entries
• Ensure timely Accounts Receivable collections and Accounts Payable disbursements
Examples of activities:
• Manage and perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records and reporting
• Coordinate and support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and cash flow activities
with existing accounting teammates
• Work closely with customers and suppliers to manage payment requirements
• Coordinate tax-related activities with subject matter experts

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
4–5 years of accounting experience
Hands-on experience with P&L reporting, payroll, AP/AR, cash flow management, and reconciliations
Demonstrated leadership experience or interest in stepping into a leadership role
Adaptable, solution-oriented mindset with openness to process improvements and change
