Job Description

Insight Global is seeking 2 Energy Systems & Optimization Project Managers to support one of our largest clients in Miami-Dade County. The Energy Systems & Optimization Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing energy efficiency, clean energy, and energy infrastructure projects across the district. This role oversees performance based energy initiatives, renewable energy installations, and major infrastructure investments that reduce energy consumption and operating costs while supporting long term sustainability goals. This role works closely with engineering consultants, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), utility partners, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and performance requirements. We are seeking an individual with fair knowledge of mechanical and energy efficiency systems you may find in a commercial building.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Energy Performance Contract (EPC/ESPC) projects end‑to‑end by owning delivery of district energy infrastructure projects under ESPC/EPC models, including coordination with ESCO partners and ensuring scope, schedule, and savings commitments are met.
- Ensure measurement, verification, and savings guarantees are achieved by leading M&V strategy and execution to validate energy performance, track guaranteed savings, and ensure contractual compliance—this is mission‑critical in performance‑based energy programs.
- Lead clean energy and electrification initiatives by managing the development and deployment of renewables, electrification, EV charging, and related infrastructure, including utility interconnections and coordination with power companies.
- Drive funding, grants, and incentive optimization
-- Oversee grant‑funded energy projects and ensure compliance, reporting, and maximization of federal, state, and utility incentives and rebates.
- Provide long‑range energy infrastructure and procurement strategy to help support lifecycle planning, evaluate alternative delivery and financing models (e.g., Energy‑as‑a‑Service), and guide district‑wide energy investment strategy.
