Job Description
The Estimator is responsible for supporting pre‑construction efforts by preparing accurate bids and pricing for specialty construction projects. This role focuses on reviewing plans and specifications, completing quantity takeoffs, sourcing vendor and subcontractor pricing, and developing detailed proposals that clearly define scope, qualifications, and exclusions. The Estimator ensures bids are competitive and profitable by entering data into estimating software, meeting bid deadlines, and following up with general contractors as needed. This position supports a smooth handoff to Project Management once a project is awarded but is not responsible for project execution, scheduling, or installation.
Salary: 80-90k

Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3+ years in construction project management
- Experience with Division 10, Division 8, or specialty trades
- Full project lifecycle ownership (estimate to close‑out)
- Ability to read plans, specs, and drawings
- Strong estimating and change order experience
- Cost control, budgeting, billing, and scheduling skills
- Experience on commercial projects
- Proficiency with Procore, Sage 300, Excel, Outlook
- Strong math, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate vendors/field teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Direct Division 10 product experience
- Prior field or supervisor oversight
- Client‑facing or business development exposure
- Jobsite meeting leadership
- Experience reviewing financial/accounting reports
- Multi‑division coordination experience
