Focus: Investment hire for building a team specializing in carrier-grade networking.
role can be remote.
Ideal Locations: Fort Meade area, Augusta, GA, Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA.
Salary Range: Approximately $200K; looking for high-caliber candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in an advisory role to bring expertise for proposals.
Design, implement, and support large-scale, high-availability networks.
Ensure strict uptime requirements and mission-critical performance.

Required Skills & Experience
8–10+ years in network engineering. 10 years and masters is ideal (open to rising stars)
Direct exposure to carrier-grade or service-provider environments. (AWS, demonstrated examples of cloud) (Lumin, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint) (Mainly network background) (transport level)
Proven track record in designing backbone network architectures (redundancy, failover, fault tolerance).
Expertise in routing and traffic engineering, including:
BGP (enterprise or carrier/core routing)
MPLS (L2/L3 VPNs, traffic engineering)
OSPF and/or IS-IS in large environments.
Mission-Critical Experience:
Previous experience supporting networks where downtime is mission-impacting (telecom, defense, government, or critical infrastructure).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with:
DISA-managed environments and the DoD Information Network (DoDIN).
NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and/or JWICS environments.
DISA architecture standards and connectivity requirements.
STIG compliance, RMF, and DoD change management processes.
Prior experience in regulated and secure environments (DoD, federal, or defense contractors).
Needs to be able to obtain a security clearance
