Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a major construction initiative involving the expansion and renovation of a large convention center facility. This individual will join the project at the beginning phase of construction and play a key role in document control, RFI and submittal management, and overall project coordination. The project is a long-term, large-scale build valued in the hundreds of millions, offering strong stability and the opportunity to convert to a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level construction professional looking to grow on a high-visibility, multi-year project.

Required Skills & Experience

5–9 years of experience supporting construction projects
Experience working for a General Contractor (GC) or Owner
Strong document control background
Hands-on experience with:
RFIs
Submittals
File structures / document management systems
Experience on large-scale construction projects ($10M–$100M+)
Ability to work 5 days onsite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Prior experience on convention center, large public, or municipal projects
Experience supporting projects in early construction phases
Long-term project experience (multi-year builds)
