Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Salesforce Developer with a foundation in Salesforce CPQ and Apex to join our revenue operations team. You will work closely with senior architects and developers to build, test, and deploy enhancements to our CPQ environment. This is an ideal role for someone who has mastered the basics of the Salesforce platform and is looking to specialize in high-value Revenue Cloud development.

Core Responsibilities
1. Supported Development
Apex Maintenance: Assist in writing and maintaining Apex Triggers and Classes, focusing on cleaning up technical debt and adhering to established design patterns.
UI Updates: Help build and style Lightning Web Components (LWC) for CPQ-related pages and custom actions.
Unit Testing: Write and execute Apex Test Classes to ensure high code coverage and successful deployments.
2. CPQ Configuration & Customization
Pricing & Product Logic: Configure Price Rules, Product Rules, and Discount Schedules based on technical specifications provided by senior team members.
Template Support: Maintain and update CPQ Quote Templates (HTML/CSS/XSL-FO) to ensure accurate branding and data display.
Data Maintenance: Use Data Loader or Inspector to manage CPQ-specific data (Price Books, Features, Options) across various environments.
3. Quality Assurance & Documentation
Bug Fixing: Troubleshoot and resolve lower-priority tickets related to pricing discrepancies or configuration errors.
Technical Documentation: Keep technical documentation and data dictionaries up to date as the system evolves.
Deployment Assistance: Support the release management process by preparing change sets or validating deployments via Git/SFDX.
Payrate is $5-15/hr based on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 3+ years of Salesforce experience (Admin or Developer roles), with at least 6 months to 1 year of hands-on exposure to Salesforce CPQ.
Technical Skills: Fundamental understanding of Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript.
Declarative Knowledge: Proficiency in Salesforce Flow and standard object configuration.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug record-level pricing issues.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Certifications: * Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI).
Salesforce Certified Administrator.
Actively working toward the Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist credential.
Soft Skills: A "hunger to learn" and the ability to take constructive feedback during code reviews.
Tools: Basic experience with VS Code and GitHub.
