Job Description

Imagine using your technology skills to build products that directly impact the financial outcomes of people from all walks of life. Nearly everyone will work with a wealth advisor at some point — planning for retirement, saving for college, or preparing for life’s unexpected moments.

With so much riding on what we build, SMArtX is looking for a Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, speed, and engineering excellence.

This is not a traditional QA role. We are looking for builders — engineers who develop automation frameworks, tools, and scalable validation systems that enable our teams to deliver faster with confidence. Your mission is to raise the quality bar across the SMArtX Platform while accelerating delivery velocity.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks
• Develop and execute automated API test scripts using Bruno or Postman
• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using Playwright
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Track, document, and manage defects throughout Agile sprints using Jira
• Use Zephyr for test case management and execution tracking
• Create and maintain clear documentation for automation frameworks and test coverage
• Collaborate with manual testers and software engineers to improve test coverage and accuracy
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategy, tooling, and quality standard
