Job Description

The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst is responsible for the implementation, operation, and tuning of enterprise data protection controls to reduce data exposure and limit data breach blast radius across the client. This role focuses on Microsoft Purview DLP, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) scanners for on‑premises data, and complementary data security tools.
The position partners with Cyber Security Architecture, IAM, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure sensitive data is properly classified, monitored, and protected while supporting business operations. This role is execution‑focused and supports continuous monitoring and improvement of the client's data protection posture.

Required Skills & Experience

-4–7+ years of related Cyber Security or IT experience with emphasis on data protection, information security, or DLP, including:
-DLP policy implementation and tuning
-Data classification and labeling
-Incident investigation and remediation
-Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP
-Strong understanding of data classification, labeling, and information protection
-Experience deploying and managing MIP scanners for on‑premises data
-Familiarity with data security posture management concepts
-Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory requirements
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Microsoft, ISC², GIAC, ISACA, CompTIA
-Microsoft SC‑400, Microsoft Security certifications, GIAC, CISSP, or equivalent.
