Job Description

The Scrum Master is responsible for leading the Agile process for one or more Scrum teams, ensuring predictable delivery of software releases within scope. This position is also responsible for the ongoing development of the team within the Agile framework and continuous improvement of development processes, product quality, and quantity of work delivered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Strongly serves and supports the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers.
· Provides all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.
· Guides and coaches the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
· Guides and coaches both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most out of self-organization in order to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
· Assesses the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
· Removes impediments or guides the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
· Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
· Facilitates getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
· Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
· Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
· Supports and educates the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka grooming) and managing the product backlog.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of scrum master experience
Bachelor Degree
Cert: PSM, CSM
Experience working with Jira
Experience coming from SDLC and Agile Background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Cert: PSM, CSP
Healthcare/ Pharma background
Experience with Copay and Claims Data
Experience with TFS
