Job Description
A client is seeking a Technical Lead - Manufacturing Engineer for a direct hire position based out of Stuart, Fl. This employee will provide judgment, analysis and direction to the business unit technical team for the development and implementation of processes required for the successful cost-effective manufacture of technical products that meet all customer quality requirements. The Technical Leader relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while directing the efforts of the business unit Engineering staff a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This lead will work with the techs on the floor to ensure goals are met while adhering to timelines and will need to have a strong technical background where they can take designs from blueprints to products. They will oversee 6 direct reports.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or manufacturing engineering
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace machining environment - past experience working with CNCs from set-ups to programming
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma theories and practices
Experience taking drawings from blueprint to parts and fixtures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Aerospace background
Siemens NX experience
Experience working with bill of materials
