Job Description
This role is responsible for putting together accurate drywall and acoustical ceiling bids for construction projects. The Estimator reviews drawings and specifications, measures materials and labor, gathers vendor pricing, and prepares detailed proposals for project managers and general contractors. They work closely with internal teams, help identify cost‑saving options when possible, and ensure bids are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Salary: 120k-140k

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a drywall or construction estimator or closely related estimating role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
-Proficiency using estimating software's such as On‑Screen Takeoff (OST), BuzzBid and Quick Bid as well as usage of ProCore.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel and Word for bids, templates, and proposals.
- Ability to prepare detailed, accurate proposals with clear qualifications and exclusions.
- Strong communication skills to present bids and discuss details with project managers or clients.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience providing value engineering suggestions or alternates.
- Familiarity working directly with general contractors.
- Experience managing RFIs (Request for Information) and addendums during the bidding process.
