Job Description

An equipment manufacturer is seeking a Finishing Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL who oversees the final stages of product quality to ensure products meet company standards, production schedules, and safety requirements before shipment. This role manages finishing crews and coordinates workflow across painting, piping, settings/assembly, outfitting, and inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily finishing operations, including surface prep, coating/painting, final assembly, inspection, and outfitting
• Lead and schedule finishing personnel to meet production targets and delivery deadlines
• Monitor product quality and workmanship, ensuring finished goods meet specifications and customer standards
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve defects, rework issues, or workflow constraints
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of finishing equipment and work areas
• Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and compliance with environmental and quality standards
• Track labor hours, materials, and production output; report progress and issues to management
Train and coach team members on finishing techniques, quality expectations, and safe work practices. Expected hourly rates are $25-28/hr depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

· High School Diploma or GED
· Supervisory experience of logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, tradesman teams
· Proven history of planning, scheduling, troubleshooting according to daily and weekly quotas/goals

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Manufacturing industry experience
Knowledge of various lifts
