Role Overview
The Policies & Procedures Administrator will work independently to create, maintain, and manage a formal, centralized database of policies, procedures, and best practices across multiple business units. This role partners closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, compliance, legal, and training teams to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, current, and easy to access.
This position is ideal for someone who excels in procedural writing, interviewing stakeholders to capture workflows, and translating complex processes into clear, well‑structured documentation.
A Typical Day Includes
Collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders to identify policy and procedure priorities
Interviewing partners and subject matter experts to gather accurate action steps and workflows
Researching, drafting, editing, and formatting comprehensive policy and procedure documentation
Updating existing materials to reflect business, regulatory, and operational changes
Implementing and maintaining a user‑friendly procedures and documentation database
Partnering with the Training team to ensure learning materials align with the most current policies and procedures
Ensuring documentation supports compliance, legal requirements, and operational efficiency
Performing additional related duties as assigned
Demonstrating behaviors aligned with culture and values
Key Responsibilities
Write, revise, and maintain clear, consistent policy and procedure documentation
Translate complex operational processes into structured, easy‑to‑follow documentation
Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and legal requirements
Maintain formatting standards and version control across all documentation
Support cross‑functional consistency by ensuring procedures are standardized where appropriate
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Required Skills & Experience
2-3 years of procedure or communications writing experience.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience managing documentation databases or shared repositories is a plus
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Financial services experience preferred
Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required
