Job Description

This role partners closely with project managers and application teams to plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and new builds in support of critical infrastructure initiatives. The engineer is expected to have a strong understanding of their own technology stack while effectively collaborating with teams across different technical domains, translating requirements, and building trusted working relationships. Daily activities include coordinating maintenance windows, aligning on technical dependencies, and ensuring smooth execution of upgrades, particularly for highly business critical, customer facing applications where uptime is essential. The role involves regular participation in meetings during standard business hours, with planned upgrade and maintenance work often occurring during off-hours to minimize operational impact, including coordination across global time zones. Downtime opportunities are limited and typically aligned with scheduled client offboarding windows, requiring strong planning, communication, and execution discipline.
