Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Mid‑Level Mobile Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of their mobile applications. This individual will work closely with a Senior Systems Engineer to implement mobile functionality, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing improvements across both iOS and Android platforms.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with React Native and a strong understanding of modern mobile development practices. This role involves writing clean, maintainable code, integrating with backend systems, participating in code reviews, and assisting with testing and release activities. The developer will also support application deployments through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store while following established mobile security, performance, and technical standards.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and enhancing mobile app features using React Native
Troubleshooting defects and performance issues
Integrating apps with APIs and third‑party services
Participating in code reviews and documentation
Supporting testing, debugging, and release cycles
Staying current with mobile development tools and trends

Required Skills & Experience
2–4 years of professional mobile or software development experience
React Native experience (iOS & Android)
JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Experience with Git
Debugging & testing mobile applications
Strong problem‑solving ability & collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, or Java
Experience publishing apps to Apple App Store / Google Play
CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise)
State‑management tools (Redux, etc.)
Performance monitoring & optimization
Hospitality or multi‑location retail tech experience
