Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Web Developer to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of their digital commerce platforms and integrations. This individual will work closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional IT teams to build, test, and support scalable solutions that enable online ordering, digital guest experiences, and enterprise system integrations.
Daily responsibilities include developing new features, supporting platform integrations, troubleshooting application and performance issues, participating in code reviews, and assisting with testing and deployment activities. This developer will collaborate with QA, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure reliable system performance and maintain documentation across applications and integrations. The ideal candidate has strong web development experience, solid problem‑solving capabilities, and a willingness to work within established architectures while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of software development experience
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Node.js
Experience with Vue.js or a similar front‑end framework
Experience working with APIs/RESTful services and system integrations
Experience with Git
Strong troubleshooting skills
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting eCommerce or digital ordering platforms
Experience in restaurant/retail technology ecosystems
Experience with third‑party integrations (ordering, payments, loyalty, etc.)
Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience with performance monitoring/optimization tools
