Job Description

Our client is looking for a Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Specialist to join their team and strengthen their organization’s operational resilience, Conducting Business Impact Analyses, and designing, maintaining, and testing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans to ensure the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions. You will develop implement, and maintain DR and BCP strategies and documentation as well as coordinate and facilitate DR and BCP testing (tabletop, simulation, and live exercises). You will analyze test results and drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment between IT disaster recovery capabilities and business continuity needs. You will collaborate with IT, Security, Operations, and Business Leaders and provide incident response and crisis management activities when needed. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and able to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in DR or BCP roles
- Strong understanding of business continuity frameworks and best practices
- Experience facilitating risk assessments and recovery planning workshops
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

•Certifications such as CBCP, CBCI, ISO 22301, CRISC, CISM, or similar
•Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity concepts
•Experience supporting audits and regulatory examinations
