Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a large‑scale infrastructure and cloud separation initiative for a leading mortgage company. This role will be focused on separating technology services from a parent organization and standing up a fully independent infrastructure environment.
The Project Manager will work within the Infrastructure organization, partnering closely with Cloud, Systems Engineering, Identity, and Office 365 teams. This role is heavily focused on Microsoft Azure, with some exposure to AWS, and requires strong experience leading complex technology migrations and divestments.
Day‑to‑Day
• Lead and manage infrastructure projects tied to company separation and divestment efforts
• Drive delivery of on‑prem to cloud migrations, primarily in Azure
• Coordinate across infrastructure domains including cloud, identity providers, Office 365, and core systems
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and systems engineering teams to align technical execution with project plans
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk logs, and status reporting
• Manage dependencies across multiple technical teams and vendors
• Identify risks related to service continuity, security, and separation complexity, and drive mitigation plans
• Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and milestones
Ensure successful stand‑up of independent infrastructure capabilities post‑separation

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading complex technology initiatives
• Strong experience managing infrastructure-focused projects
• Proven experience with large-scale technology migrations, including on‑prem to cloud
• Hands-on experience managing projects in Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience working closely with:
○ Identity and access management
○ Office 365 / Microsoft 365
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and timelines
• Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
Experience with technology divestments or company separations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Background in private equity–owned or carve‑out environments
• Exposure to AWS
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
Prior experience separating shared infrastructure, identity, or core services between two companies
