Job Description

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a fully remote Epic HIM Analyst to serve as the primary support contact for Epic HIM applications in a permanent FTE role. This position focuses on Deficiency Tracking, Coding, Release of Information, and Identity management, supporting both operational users and leadership.
The analyst will work closely with HIM staff, clinical departments, and IT teams to ensure workflows are compliant, efficient, and well supported. This role is ideal for a developing Epic HIM professional who wants long‑term growth, ownership of HIM build, and exposure to enterprise‑level Epic workflows in a hospital environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with Health Information Management (HIM) systems or workflows
• Hands‑on exposure to Epic HIM (build, support, or optimization)
• Strong understanding of HIM workflows, including:
○ Deficiency Tracking
○ Coding
○ Release of Information (ROI)
○ Identity Management
• Familiarity with privacy, confidentiality, and compliance standards
• Ability to analyze workflows and translate operational needs into Epic build
• Experience troubleshooting issues and supporting end users

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Epic HIM certification (or ability to obtain within 9 months)
• Clinical or HIM background (coding, medical records, ROI, etc.)
• Experience with transcription and scanning workflows/vendors
• Prior Epic implementation or go‑live experience
• Understanding of Epic application integrations across clinical and revenue workflows
Experience supporting upgrades, testing, and optimization efforts
