Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to hire an entry level industrial engineer to join their team in the Estero area. This person will be responsible for bridging process mapping and data analytics. This person will be responsible for supporting the operations arm of the business through physically walking processes, documenting workflows, and working with data partners to translate those processes into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Listed below
• Perform process mapping by:
○ Visiting facilities (airports, Hertz locations)
○ Observing and documenting workflows
• Conduct time studies and identify inefficiencies
• Partner with the data/analytics team to:
○ Define where data intersects with processes
○ Help translate processes into measurable KPIs
• Document workflows and process improvements using Visio
Support projects across different locations as needed (occasional regional travel)

Required Skills & Experience
• Industrial Engineering degree
• Core understanding of:
○ Process mapping
○ Operational workflows
• Basic to working knowledge of data concepts
○ Tableau familiarity
○ Understanding of how data supports process improvement
• Programming understanding
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Ability to clearly explain:
○ What they built
○ Why it mattered
○ What impact it had
• Strong communication and curiosity
Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami — typically day trips)
