Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Site Reliability Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology team for a leader in the Media industry. Your primary responsibilities include designing, implementing and supporting infrastructure/tools/services for both internally used and customer-facing online applications developed by and for Disney business units.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in the SRE/DevOps/Software Engineering field
- Full infrastructure/application stack troubleshooting experience Network/Server/OS/App/DB/Storage/IAM etc.
- Expert level AWS experience: Running massive scale production workloads, building out entire environments, familiarity with common services (VPC, EC2, S3, Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront, ALB/ELB, IAM, RDS, etc).
- Expert Linux Server/OS/WebApp support experience.
- Intermediate or higher level of Windows Server/OS/WebApp also required
- Hands on experience with Terraform for automation
- Familiarity with the following scripting/programming languages (e.g. Terraform, Chef, Perl, Python, Go, JavaScript).
- Common data exchange formats like JSON and XML.
- Code repo/use (e.g. Github, Gitlab) experience.
- Container (e.g. Docker) support experience.
- Monitoring platforms – preferably Datadog, and/or NewRelic, CloudWatch, etc.
- CICD (e.g. Gitlab CI, Jenkins, etc) pipeline setup and support experience
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, in both written (email, chat, technical documentation) and verbal communications.
- Team player (collaborative, friendly, great to work with – zero tolerance for toxic/negative individuals who might impact our exciting and welcoming culture).
- Able to provide technical leadership and mentoring to SREs below the Senior level.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Some familiarity with Azure and/or GCP
- AWS Certs
