Job Description
• Prospect and generate leads within assigned geographic region for SLED agencies.
• Build/maintain relationships with state + local government decision-makers and influencers.
• Create and execute sales plans to drive bookings and revenue to quota.
• Understand agency needs and position IDI/CORE™ solutions to solve identity verification, risk mitigation, due diligence, fraud prevention, and compliance challenges.
• Drive procurement motion: help shape requirements, contribute to RFP buildout, coordinate with procurement teams, and work toward contract drafting → operations director alignment → PO.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce + GovWin; monitor KPIs and course-correct gaps.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing/Product/Legal for contract alignment and revenue initiatives.
• Stay current on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments affecting public sector buyers.
• Travel for in-person meetings, trade shows, speaking engagements, and industry events.
$100K base (1ST YEAR OTE: $130K, 2ND YEAR OTE $160K)

Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years in solution sales / business development / sales within Public Sector (ideally tech or data analytics).
• Proven ability to hit revenue targets / quotas in public sector.
• Strong experience navigating government procurement: contracting vehicles, regulations, RFP development, PO process.
• Relationship-builder with senior stakeholders (e.g., Secretary of State-level relationships; top-down + bottom-up approach).
• Experience with GovWin (public sector pipeline) and Salesforce for funnel/pipeline management.
• Comfortable with heavy in-person relationship selling (travel 40–50%).
• Strong communication/negotiation/presentation skills; able to align internal + external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
• SLED-only focus (State/Local/Education)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience selling identity, fraud, risk, compliance, data/analytics solutions into SLED.
• Strong history working “strategic then technical” — owns strategy/relationships + funnel; partners with AE for deeper technical cycle.
• Familiarity with finance-adjacent public sector areas (public retirement, child support) or law enforcement/social services/Medicaid-type stakeholders.
• Advanced degree / MBA.
