Job Description

A client is looking for a CNC Programmer for a permanent position based in Stuart, FL. This employee will be responsible for translating blueprints into machine code to create finished products, which involves programming various CNC machines and fine-tuning their parameters to ensure parts meet exact specifications. Key responsibilities include analyzing technical drawings, developing and testing programs, and making necessary adjustments to machine settings for optimal accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ year's experience in a CNC Programming position
- Able to program with G-Code and M-Code
- CAD modeling software experience - they are using Siemens NX
- Familiarity with modern CNC controls such as Okuma OSP and Fanuc
- Understanding of cutting tool selection and geometry (end mills, drills, turning tools, specialty cutters)
- Able to diagnose machining and support continuous process improvement.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Past experience working in the aerospace industry
Experience with Siemens NX
