Job Description

• The ideal candidate balances structure with flexibility, demonstrates strong situational leadership, and can navigate organizational complexity.
• Facilitates all ART ceremonies across multiple ARTs (PI Planning, SoS, ART Sync).
• Tracks ART metrics, risks, and dependencies.
• Drives continuous improvement within the train.
• Ensures alignment to program roadmap & cross‑team coordination.
• Trains teams and leaders on Agile, SAFe, Lean, OKRs, and flow.
• Leads or support organizational Agile transformations.
• Coaches Scrum Masters, Product Owners, delivery teams, and leaders on Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean) to strengthen practices and mindset.
• Provides one‑on‑one and group coaching to build high‑performing, self‑organizing teams.
• Serves as a mentor and thought partner to leadership, helping them model Agile behaviors.
• Facilitates Agile ceremonies, workshops, and training sessions, including retrospectives, OKR workshops, value stream mapping, PI readiness activities, and continuous improvement events.
• Helps develop and evolve Agile standards, governance models, and maturity assessments.
• Ability to build and execute upon an agile coaching plan.
• Bring a change management mindset to teams that may be struggling with transformational change (calm, logic, patience to coach, problem solving, etc.).
• Navigate and develop relationships with a team where psychological safety or trust may be at risk. This may appear as a team reluctant to speak up, struggles to problem solve, struggles to move quickly, process/operational inefficiencies, etc.
• Align to an enterprise level transformation strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Current/recent experience as a Release Train Engineer
• Strong facilitation & orchestration across large groups.
• Skilled in teaching, mentoring, and organizational change.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating large-scale ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills delivered to executives.
• Ability to drive alignment among diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience coaching multiple teams simultaneously and elevating organizational maturity.
• Proven experience taking a team through agile maturity.
• Experience with enterprise level transformations.
