Job Description
The Night Shift Medical-Surgical Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) provides operational and clinical leadership for a 50‑bed unit, overseeing staffing, scheduling, and daily unit operations. The ANM supports the development of 12–20 staff, supervises 10–11 nurses and 4–5 patient care technicians per shift, functions as charge nurse as needed, and ensures safe staffing ratios. Responsibilities include managing audits for lines and drains, handling escalations, and maintaining patient and staff safety while serving as the primary leadership presence overnight.
