Job Description

The Executive Administrative Assistant manages and coordinates the activities for the President, Executive Vice President (EVP), and Board of Directors. This includes responsibility for the coordination and scheduling of meetings and events for the President, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors. The position interacts directly with CareerSource Northeast Florida (CSNEFL) Board members, local government officials, and senior-level business leaders providing complex and confidential executive support to the President and Executive Vice President (EVP). This is a position designated as a position of special trust and requiring minimal supervision. The EA will be mainly responsible for managing CEO's calendar, consolidating presentation slides for Board meetings, distributing meeting packets to members, organizing the meetings, taking attendance, recording/taking detailed notes of the meeting, and final type-ups of the meetings "minutes" to be posted on the company website.

Some need to organize travel for the CEO, pay utility bills for the employment centers, and organize event space for boardroom meetings and events.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized four-year college or university.
- Minimum five (5) years of professional executive level administrative support and ability to type 50 wpm required.
- Experience working with a Board of Directors/Board of Governance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to take and transcribe dictation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Knowledge of Florida Government in the Sunshine Law including meeting notice requirements.
- Non-Profit or Public Sector experience.
