Job Description
The Fire Alarm Installer Lead is responsible for overseeing the installation of fire alarm and low‑voltage life‑safety systems, ensuring all work is completed according to engineered drawings, code requirements, and project specifications. This role manages daily field operations including material planning, manpower coordination, conduit routing, equipment room layout, device installation, and system integration. The lead troubleshoots installation issues, mentors and develops technicians, communicates effectively with project management and site leadership, and ensures all documentation, safety practices, and quality standards are met while driving projects to completion efficiently and accurately.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of fire alarm installation experience with the ability to interpret and execute engineered drawings and oversee project scope, materials, and manpower. Ideally has NICET Level 3
- Strong knowledge of NEC, relevant NFPA codes, local regulations, equipment room/conduit layout, and construction safety requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to supervise, train, and mentor technicians while effectively communicating with customers, project teams, and vendors.
- Proficiency with computers for documentation, report writing, and system‑related tasks.
